Tell us about your experience
I am loving my time as a Youth researcher! The YAR training team provided brilliant training material on team building and virtual communication, quantitative and qualitative research, ethics, and data analysis. With it, I feel confident and ready to interview participants. I am so grateful to be in a team of such talented, passionate, and enthusiastic young people from all over Europe. It is a privilege to work on this very important project for youth, and my fellow team members’ input helps bring fresh and different perspectives. It’s amazing to have a platform with which youth’s voices can be heard, and by researching mental health and social media usage, my hope is that my team can make a difference by disseminating valuable information, in relation to how the youth needs coping mechanisms, and to look after themselves during the Covid-19 pandemic. Thank you so much to UNESCO and the Youth as Researchers programme for this incredible opportunity, I look forward to continue my journey and to speak on behalf of youth in Europe during incredibly difficult times.
