During the YAR training you will be asked to develop a contract with your team. This contract will cover your expectations and commitments as a team. This team contract will specify the behaviours expected from you during the project. The YAR training covers the ethics requirements of your research and provides guidance on the ethics clearance process (required for all research projects). In addition, we want to make sure that you are aware of the YAR Ethics Committee (yar.ethics@gmail.com). If you are aware of ethical issues or have concerns about the welfare of your fellow participants or of others with whom you come into contact during the project, please reach out to your team coordinator. If this cannot be dealt with by your team coordinator, please reach out to the Ethics Committee. More detail on this will be provided during the program.
